He completed 43 years of professional service before retiring in 2022, following a career spanning Human Resources Management, Administration, Organisational Development, Leadership, Training, Management and Consulting.
He retired as a Deputy Director of Human Resources at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN).
Following his retirement, Adm. Sukkushe has continued to deploy his extensive experience through entrepreneurship, consulting, training, mentoring, writing and professional development.
He is the Founder and Managing Director & CEO of Sukkushe Consultancy Limited (SCL), a Nigerian management consulting firm established in 2015. SCL provides consulting, human-resource, training and organisational-development services to organisations and professionals.

Retirement preparation has become one of Adm. Sukkushe's major areas of professional interest.    
He is the author of Retirement: How To Have A Productive Retirement, published in 2022.

Building on this work, he is developing the RETIRE READY™️ Framework and Retire Ready Academy, with the objective of helping individuals prepare for retirement as a comprehensive life transition rather than simply the end of formal employment.
His approach considers the need for purposeful living, financial preparation, continued personal development, social relationships, family, health, spirituality, entrepreneurship and meaningful engagement after formal employment.

Education & Professional Development

Adm. Sukkushe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Abuja.
His education and professional development also include studies and qualifications in public administration, human-resource management, leadership, management, administration, consulting and change management.
He undertook postgraduate Master's-level studies at the University of Roehampton, United Kingdom. He did not complete the final year because of funding constraints and therefore does not claim a Master's degree from Roehampton.
He has undertaken professional development programmes locally and internationally, including training associated with the Galilee International Management Institute, Israel, and other professional institutions.

Adm. Sukkushe is a Fellow/member of several professional institutions and holds professional designations in human resources, administration, management consulting, change management and related disciplines.
His professional standing is independently reflected in the records and activities of institutions including the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and the Institute of Change Management International.
